The Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) is a highly purified, partially depolymerized cellulose derivative obtained from plant fibers, primarily wood pulp. Innovations in MCC production technologies are also enhancing product purity and performance. However, challenges include price fluctuations in raw materials, strict regulatory standards, and availability of substitutes.
