Former Spurs right-back Stephen Carr has called time on his playing career, after making 304 appearences for both Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.The Irish right back scored 8 goals during his time at both clubs, including a stunning goal against Manchester United, whilst playing for the Spurs. Howver his popularity at Spurs was diminished at Spurs when he left for Newcastle Kevin Smith Jersey in a 2million move. He told Tottenham fans that he was sorry to leave but that he wanted to test himself at a bigger club.The player also played 44 times for the Republic of Ireland.
